She sat contemplating her future--the molten sky fading into the serene blue marine layer, the marching on of the tides and times and she was satisfied. Satisfied in a new chapter, in a new life, in the finish of the sunset and the dawn of a new day. A sudden newness had settled around her, a cushion of thrilling ease was setting the tone for a new journey, one which would not be undertook alone. A child-like wonder drew all fear from any plausible snag- a surge of adventure forging any feebleness to furrow into the velvet hills and lie in peace. Yes-- she had met her match, to which there was no doubt, and suddenly it became the time for the rest of her life to begin.

These images were shot in February.... Police Brutality is real. We are now seeing a more evident episode of this constant problem in Zucotti Park today- National Day of Action, November 17th, 2011.

I don't know the situation here. I know that those cops berated and embarrassed the black gentlemen to no end. They left him handcuffed on the ledge for nearly an hour. In the city of Rodney King, you would think the police would show far more intelligence and compassion when arresting ANYONE, specifically someone of a non-caucasian background. Eventually they called in 3 more police vehicles, and as you can see in the last image- all of the officers stood and laughed.

Note: I'm actually quite fond of two inanimate objects being found in company of one another. I feel it's a part of a conversation I'm allowed to see for a brief moment, and I feel a sense of relief that in their permanency they, at least, have each other to cheer on through the bleak habitation of life by humans.

Sequestered-- sitting across from Ted Bundy-esque characters perusing the Post, peeping across to eye his much-assuming prey. Map in hand, a reluctant traveler eyes each stop with the same voracity as my newest number-1 fan, who attempts to hid his attentions by trying to invent a new way to fold the paper.

50 blocks into the countdown he is replaced with two satisfied customers of AMC locked in a post-cinematic-coital. How boring. Two men on either side of the train promise in slumber to keep the entry barriers from tragically collapsing inward, theoretically. 22 more spaces along the Monopoly board and a minstrel attempts to shine a rise from narcoleptics, insomniacs and drunks.

Brown-shoes (black-shirt) sinks into the the corner at my side, and all hope slips away from the post-meltdown-yuppie comeback. What a shame. Everyone knows color coordination is how they want their $. Fuck, even Ted Bundy had on a coordinating navy get-up.

There's a new red light out back, something to select the varied panes against in the royal hue of a sky settling into a full moon monologue-- afterglow of a sun who only saw spits of civilization's frenetic farce today.

People's lives flitter in front of me like silhouettes dancing against a painter's sheet-- half-formed, half-abstracted shapes, shadows and suggested story-lines. Eccentricities eradicate and sense of familiarity that plain-folk feel for rascals, rebels and rejects. Full moons fall on, and slip past, the affections of one not acquainted with unrequited ambitions, aspirations and ablutions. Hearts hang on the wall, absent of antlers- antennas to the evangelized existence of love, life and liars.

"Out there" is a million possibilities. Presence pricks the hairs on the back of the masked-- ciliated cerebellums, dormant in the grid whilst I sit on a grid-in-grid and cannot exist within. Honeybee in hiding, sheltering sting-- pulled by strings of a blind puppet-master, seeking sunflowers and lemonade.
